Inauguration of MUST – The City of Lucca Museum

    The Futura Magazine has visited the new MUST – a museum of the city of Lucca, located inside the prestigious setting of Palazzo Guinigi in the heart of the historical center. The new exhibition center features large halls, most of which have recently been renovated or carefully restored to their original state, stretching over the three floors of the Palazzo. Must (the acronym stands for Memoria Urbana Storia e Territorio – Urban Memory, History and Territory) is a truly modern museum, offering to the public images and personal accounts of the history of Lucca, from ancient times to the 21st century. Lucca Comics 2011 – Part 2

The 2011 edition of Lucca Comics and Games was the most successful ever, breaking all previous records with over 155,000 spectators attending the five days of the festival. With this result Lucca Comics and Games is now the third most important festival of its kind in the world, after Tokyo’s Comiket and Angoulême’s Festival International de la Bande Dessinee, even surpassing the Comic-Con International in San Diego.
